Four reasons we love the new Facebook Brand Pages

Last week we wrote about Timeline for Brands and what it means for your business. Today they’ve rolled out the new pages… and we absolutely love them. Here are four reasons we love the new changes:

 

1. Banner – Duh. It is a great way to showcase a brand. Whether it be a campaign, promotion or just advertising, the banner is a great way for a brand to highlight whatever they chose to.

2. Messaging – You now have the capabilities to message your favorite brands. How can a business use messaging to market their brand? You can use the messaging to verify contest and giveaways winners or more importantly, as a customer service tool. Instead of carrying out a whole conversation on your brand page, you now have the capabilities to have a private conversation with the brand. As of right now however, brands can’t message other brands.

 

3. Visually Appealing. Between the banner, apps bar and the opportunity to highlight specific posts, your new brand pages are visually appealing to look at and go through. For businesses, that is great because you want the consumers to stay on your Brand Page as long as possible.

 

4. Admin Panel. The new admin panel is cleaner and more concise. It is much easier to view latest and notifications. Insights is also right there for your viewing please. Although they didn’t change Insights, they did make it easier to view making it available for full page preview.
