Social Media marketing has probably become the most accessible form of marketing and advertising for small businesses. Convincing people to follow ...
We all know social media isn’t going anywhere, but how is your business going to grow it’s online presence with your competition being just one click away? Easy, by integrating social media within your business. Sometimes, just creating a Facebook and Twitter page isn’t enough.
By creating an Integrated Social Marketing Plan, which consists of three types of social marketing plans: internally, externally and individually, helps create the ability to set goals and track your business’ progress. Giving each employee who has access to customers a social identity within your brand allows for brand exposure and recognition as well as an opportunity for a customer or potential client to reach out to a member of team.
Although this does cause great brand exposure, there is a lot of work that goes into it. There are four things each business needs to do in order to make this work: an external social marketing plan, an internal social marketing plan, an individual social marketing plan for each employee under the brand social identity and lastly, each person under the brand social identity needs to be monitored at all times.
Some of the businesses that would work well with an Integrated Social Marketing Plan would be insurance agencies, realty groups, financial planners and auto dealerships. If you business has a sales and/or business development department, then you should consider creating an Integrated Social Marketing Plan for your business.
